From suffering with amenorrhea (loss of menstrual cycle) for over 2 years, disordered eating patterns, low body confidence, constipation & low immune system, I had to hit rock bottom for me to realise that so much of what doing and had been taught to do was wrong.

Through my own trauma with my menstrual cycle, I have come to understand why so many women suffer.
We were never taught to respect our cyclical nature, our need and desire for rest and stillness, our more delicate stress response, and our hormonal ebbs and flows which is a beautiful dance of energies inside of us each month.

Instead, many of us especially from my generation, were told to immediately go on the pill at age 16, to then experience a decade or so of essentially blocking out, or fighting against, our hormonal cycles.
Pair this with toxic diet culture, new fitness fads such as HIIT, dieting tools such as intermittent fasting, and always feeling we needed to 'change', and we've ended up with a generation of women disconnected from their cycle, their body, and themselves.

This has manifested as 80% of women suffering from PMS, infertility rates rising each year, breast cancer cases caused by an imbalance of estrogen rising, and eating disorders and mental health issues.
We are cyclical beings. When we learn to respect that and live in alignment with our cyclical nature, we can heal and we can flourish.

I suffered from ammenorhea for over 2 years (loss of menstrual cycle), and I used this exact method to heal my menstrual cycle, connect back to my womb and feminine energy, and now celebrate a regular and pain-free cycle
